By downloading or using the Quran99 app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The App is free
Quran99 is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid tiers. We may, at our discretion, choose to offer optional features or donations in the future, in which case those will be clearly identified.
2. Permitted use
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
- Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws.
- Modify, scrape, or interfere with the audio streams, prayer-time data, or other content delivered through the App.
3. Religious content
The App provides the Holy Quran in Arabic along with translations, transliterations, hadith, adhkar, prayer times, and Qibla direction. We make every effort to ensure this content is accurate and faithfully represented, but we do not warrant absolute correctness. Prayer times in particular depend on calculation methods, location accuracy, and your local conventions; please verify with your local mosque if precision is critical for you.
4. Audio streams
The radio feature streams audio from third-party broadcasters. Those streams are operated independently of Quran99 and may change, become unavailable, or include content we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party stream.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, code, branding, and original content are the property of Quran99 and protected by copyright and trademark laws. The Holy Quran itself is, of course, sacred scripture in the public domain. Translations included in the App are used under their respective licenses or with permission of the rights holders.
6. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quran99 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.
8. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App, add or remove features, and revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time, in whole or in part, without notice.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Ohio.
